RAÍCES CULTURAL ARCHIVE

Raíces maintains an archival database that provides historical information about Caribbean arts and culture to the general public. Researchers will be able to access the Cultural Archive's library of books, printed materials, electronic data, film, video, recordings and more. Upon completion of the public interface, a catalog of archived material will be accessible on this website.

Raíces also maintains a media archive of its activities and programs and content related to the roots and culture of Caribbean performing and visual arts, documenting the Center's rich visual, artistic and culturally rooted history of the organization and exploring topics related to the mission of the organization. This includes photos, videos, informational, scholarly and editorial articles and publications and selected Raíces administrative documents.

Breaking News!:
Just got word that Raíces Cultural Center's oral history project "Testimonial for the Ancestors" received funding for 2012-2013 from the Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission. This will be the first official oral history project of the Raíces Cultural Center archive. Grow Raíces, grow!
