RAÍCITAS YOUTH PROGRAM Current Programs Click flyer for details   More About the Raícitas Youth Program  In order to preserve our cultures and histories, we must pass along as much knowledge as possible to the young people in our communities. Raícitas is an educational program in the performing, visual and media arts, designed to expose all youth to the Caribbean performing arts and to identify and cultivate the artistic talents of dedicated, creative youth living in Central NJ. Raícitas offers dance, music and song classes to children and young adults, through private lessons and weekly group workshops. Students demonstrating significant dedication, skill and focus will be invited to participate in advanced classes and audition for the children's ensemble, which will perform in conjunction with the Raíces Cultural Center Ensemble. The Raícitas program also includes educational performances, workshops, residencies, family events and festivals for families, schools, community and youth groups.
