Introduction to Afro-Cuban Dance

Explore the rich movement and history of traditional Afro-Cuban dance.

Join Raíces Cultural Center to learn the fundamental techniques of this vibrant Caribbean art form. These open, public classes introduce the essential rudiments of Afro-Cuban dance while exploring the deep cultural significance and historical context that define the genre.

Class Details:

  • Audience: Open to adults and families with teens ages 14 and up. (Note: A guardian must remain present at all times for minors).

  • Requirements: No prior experience necessary.

  • Capacity: Registration is strictly limited to 12 participants per session to ensure personalized instruction.
