What
Raíces Community History is reviving our history discussion group! This fall we will focus on the history of cultural arts traditions presented and taught in Raíces programming. Learn, share and discuss more about the history and meaning of cultural arts forms and roots music, including bomba, plena and Afro-Cuban traditional arts.

Cultural Arts & History Discussion Group will meet monthly starting in October 2025.

This program is open to both local Raíces program participants and community members from throughout the diaspora who are interested in discussing and learning more about the history and meaning behind the cultural arts traditions of the Caribbean.
