Raíces at the HPEC
RESERVE THE EUGENE YOUNG ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER
As stewards of the Eugene Young Environmental Education Center, Raíces Cultural Center seeks to make the space available to borough committees and entities for ecological, cultural arts and community history based programs.
Submitting a request does not automatically confirm your use of the space. It does tentatively hold the time from being requested by anyone else. A Raíces team member will be in touch within 2 business days to confirm your reservation.
Before submitting your request to reserve the space, please take a moment to review our building use policies and procedures. Your submission of this request indicates you have read and agree to the following guidelines:
Policies & Procedures
- All requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance.
- The maximum number of participants for indoor programs and events is limited to 18.
- There may be additional guidelines for outdoor events and programs with an expected attendance above 40 participants. Additional information will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation if necessary.
- The start time of the request should be the time you would like to arrive on site for the set up of your program.
- Committees and organizations who reserve the indoor space are required to leave the space exactly as they found it. A checklist will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to liability, we cannot accommodate youth drop off programs.
- Smoking, vaping, alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are not permitted on site, inside or outside the building.
- A Raíces team member will arrive 15 minutes prior to the requested time to open the building and will remain on site for the duration of the reserved time.
- This space cannot be reserved for commercial events or private family functions.
- This space cannot be used for recurring events or program series that take place more than once per month.

Your booking request submission will automatically send you a tentative calendar invite. This is not a final confirmation, but the time will be held for you while we review.
