Raíces EcoCulture just received our first delivery of seed donations for the 2016 season! We want to send a huge thank you to all of our friends, family and supporters who nominated Raíces for a seed donation from the Hudson Valley Seed Library. This is the third year we have received a donation from Hudson Valley. Receiving this donation allows us to expand the varieties available to members of our own Raíces Seed Library. It also provides us with additional varieties to plant in the Raíces EcoCulture gardens for sharing with our volunteers and community, including our ongoing fresh, local produce donations to A Better World Café and Elijah’s Promise.
Also, we want to send a thank you to our ongoing EcoCulture program supporter Liz Lopez for being the first to order from our new online Seeds Now Seed Shop. The donation we earned from your seed purchase paid for the shipping for this year’s Hudson Valley Seed donation. Thank you for your continued support of our gardening and EcoCulture programs!
