
Natalie is a Rutgers University New Brunswick graduate. She studied History and International and Global Studies, focusing her undergraduate research on minority groups in United States History. Currently, Natalie is an English Language and Cultural Assistant in Galicia, Spain. She has been working with Raíces since January of 2018. Recently, she published her own online exhibition with Raíces entitled “A Medium in the Family”, where she recounts the discovery of magic and spiritualism in the lives of her ancestors in Guatemala. While back home in New Jersey for the summer, she is working as an archive assistant on one of our Roots Music Exhibits, about Andean folkloric music, featuring musician and culture bearer Pepe Santana and his ensemble, Grupo INKHAY.
