SUPPORT SPOTLIGHT: New Jersey State Council on the Arts Awards Raíces Creative Aging Initiative Grant for 2024
Raíces Cultural Center has been awarded a Creative Aging Initiative Grant for 2024. This is a new grant funding opportunity from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for developing and delivering programs in the arts to older adults over 55.
This program will be offered in partnership with the Highland Park Community Center, in the Spring and Fall of 2024, and will be open to older adults over 55 free of cost. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in living cultural traditions from the Caribbean, such as bomba and plena from Puerto Rico.
