Raíces Cultural Center's Branch of Community History

Est. 2021

We are very excited and proud to announce that Raíces Cultural Center has been accepted to participate in the first cohort of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities new Community History program, along with eight other organizations and groups from around the state of New Jersey.

We are grateful NJCH and their amazing team for continuing to provide opportunities to grow, expand, collaborate and share. We will be using this space to document our participation in this project and share reflections on the the resources we are learning from and engaging with.

This page will continue to develop and evolve as we begin to construct our 2021 Community History project “Stories for the Ancestors, Stories of Healing” and continue to build platforms to discover, preserve and amplify untold and undertold stories in, and with, our communities.
